The National Foundry Technology Network aims to support and facilitate growth and transformation in the foundry (metal-casting) industry through focused interventions that are designed to support improved foundry competitiveness, the industrialisation of new technologies and products and the development of critical skills for the sector. The NFTN is a programme of the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic) hosted by the CSIR.
