Partner News: SAIF Quater 2 Foundry Technology Program Short Courses – Gauteng

The South African Institute of Foundrymen is offering the following three highly commended training courses for Quarter 2 (May to August 2023) as part of the SAIF Foundry Technology Program in Moulding & Moulding Sands, Fettling as well as Productivity & Production Planning for the foundry industry in the Gauteng and surrounding area.

These courses are aimed at Team Leaders, 1^st Line Supervisors, Operations Managers, Operators and Maintenance Personnel in Foundries.

• Lectures will take place on
  Saturday mornings for approximately 4  – 5 hours.
• Training will commence on Saturday, 20 May 2023.
• These courses will run over 10 weeks (including revision & exams).
• The course is expected to conclude on Saturday, 29 July 2023.
• Students must attend at least 70% of all lectures (5 of 8) in order to write the final assessment
  exam.
• The minimum mark in order to pass the exam is  50%
